One year ago, our board member, Lawson Picasso, rescued her fur baby from being euthanized from a animal shelter in San Diego, Texas. Buddy was left at the shelter by his previous owner along with another older dog. Because he was 7-years old, he was considered too old and unadoptable. Lawson and her family went in to meet Buddy and immediately he crawled into their hearts and they knew he was the missing piece they did not know they needed. This year, with party hats and pet friendly sweet treats, Buddy celebrated a year of fuzzy blankets, colorful bandanas, and plenty of love with his forever humans. He enjoys napping in the back yard while his dad is grilling and loves giant snuggle hugs from his mama. He has two fur sisters, Roo and Holly; and one human brother, Luke. Lawson says she cannot imagine life without Buddy now that she has him. She jokes that he is always ready to strike a pose when he sees her on her camera.
Happy Fashionable Adoption, Buddy!
